Topic: Student of the Month
Student: James Heckler
1. What do you consider your best qualities?
I consider myself to be hardworking, intelligent, loving, and caring.
2. What is your favorite subject in school?
I love math because it's not English.
3. How do you want other people to see you?
I'm not worried about how other people see me.
4. How do you think people actually see you?
I think people see me as a nice, genuine person.
5. What motivated you to do well in school?
I motivated myself because I want to get into a good college.
6. How does your community know who you are?
I like to volunteer at food banks and help the needy.
7. How do you treat your teachers?
I treat my teachers well and with respect.
8. Are your parents involved with your academic position?
No. I put the pressure on myself to do well.
9. Do you think you deserve the Student of the Month award?
No, I see people that are more qualified than I am.
10. How do you compare to other students?
I am honored to be in this position and I don't worry about anyone else.
11. What to you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy acting and participating in theatre activities.
12. How often are you unsatisfied with your grade?
Sometimes I'm unsatisfied, but I work hard to get high A's and B's. Only if I get a C am I disappointed.
13. Do you get privileges taken away if your grades are unsatisfactory?
No, I am self motivated.
14. What are your friends like?
My friends are really great and supportive.
15. How many hours do you spend studying?
I don't really study that much.
16. Who do you aspire to be like?
I aspire to be like my grandfather.
17. What do you want to be when you grow up?
I have many things I want to be, such as an engineer, actor, fighter pilot, or a high school math teacher.
18. Do you plan on going to college?
Yes, of course.
19. Who do you consider to be your greatest role model?
My grandfather is my role model because he was a helicopter pilot, similar to what I want to be.
20. How might your school life be different from other people's?
I don't think it's much different from other people's. School is school.
